A 50-year-old American-made and Veteran-owned company in Gallatin is expanding in a unique way. Previously based in Chandler, Arizona, overland and adventure trailer manufacturer Turtleback Trailers has now moved operations to Gallatin following its acquisition in May by Wil-Ro, Inc., according to a press release. The acquisition will allow the Gallatin-based truck bed and trailer manufacturer to expand brand presence in the overland — meaning self-reliant travel to remote destinations — industry.
